Blessings of COVID

Amidst the tragedy, there are also few changes in the world that benefits all of us. Let’s see a few of them.

The first idea that came to my mind as a student is the online school. Ironically when students came up with an idea of using their mobile phones in the classroom, the schools denied it. Now the school is in the student’s mobile phone. The teachers either conduct online classes or send video links for students to learn and understand concepts.

The constant bustling of cars and the continuous noise of the horns has become a part of everyone’s life, mainly for people in Chennai. Now the peaceful roads and pleasant atmosphere with beautiful rainbows is a contrast for a lot of us. The birds that come to the balconies in search of food keep chirping, I don’t know if it is an illusion or really the bird’s chirp sounds like my name; like “Rohit… Rohit..”. Due to that reason, I started feeding them with grains and some water.

On April 16th, early in the morning the four celestial bodies the Moon, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter were aligned in one straight line. A lot of us who were awake witnessed one of the beauties of the nature. Due to the lock-down the pollution decreased by almost 50%, hence we can see the pretty blue skies. Due to the clear blue skies, we are able to witness more stars than usual. On a lighter note, we are also able to see the data stored in the cloud.

Before lock-down, few of my friends and I roamed around. We played together and spent a lot of time together, but post lock-down we were barely able to spend time together. We decided to start playing video games. In school, during free periods few of us played krunker (online video game) hence we decided to play krunker online as well. We will have a Skype call on and simultaneously play krunker so it feels like we are together and playing. Thinking about after lock-down, all of us will be missing the lock-down time and have a lot of memories from it.

An interesting fact that was published on the 26th of April, a hole in the ozone layer of about 1 million square kilometres was healed automatically during the lock-down. This is the largest ozone layer hole which was caused due to low temperatures in the north-pole.
After reading this, I believe that you all understand everything happens for a reason. This lock-down is tragic and has impacted a lot of our lives or lives of people who we know, but what we should do now is blindly follow the Government’s orders. The interesting fact is that India is one of the best countries handling this situation with caution.

Tnks all
Good job! Nice to see you are bringing in humor too.
Good Rohit you have added good karma by feeding birds... This is the greatest blessing given to you by Corona... Continue doing it even after lockdown
