An amazing victory to start the IPL especially against Mumbai Indian making it more special, but the next two matches didn’t go the way we wanted it to.
All the three matches took place in 3 different venues Abu Dhabi, Shrajah and Dubai respectively.
In Sharjah the turn of the ball is very less and the ground is a smaller ground. Few of the six hits by both the teams wouldn’t have crossed the boundary line in the other two venues. Rajasthan took advantage especially Sanju Samson took a great advantage of the two factors and confidently striked. The mistake that the spinners made in the game was that they bowled around a constant speed of 95-96. There was no variation in the pace and most of the balls were bowled in the slot where it is easy pickings for the batsmen. The mistake Ngidi made in the last over was also the same as the spinners bowling with more pace. The idea that you cannot stop a player from hitting but you can take his wicket could have been applied by Ngidi and the spinners. The more pace you bowl when they are striking the easier it is for them to score. In Dubai the spinners made the same mistake again by not varying the pace and bowling in the slot. Luckily for Chawla the last 2 overs were pretty decent compared to the first 2. As Mr.Cricket Michael Hussey the batting coach of CSK said the spinners need some time to get set.
Coming to the batting side. Poor opening duo, Watson has the urge to get in the zone immediately after a boundary unfortunately losing a wicket. Vijay takes it slowly and in the pressure loses his wicket cheaply going for a big shot. Du Plesis is the only in-form batsman in the entire team. Three good knocks for the team with barely any support from the other person in the last 2 matches. Rayudu unluckily got a hamstring after the match against MI and wasn't able to play the previous 2 matches. Sam Curran is the best replacement for Bravo which was a big problem for the team. Dhoni still tries to get settled while coming in number 5 or 6, either he should come at number 4 and settle or come at 5 or 6 and smash the ball. That can be done in a match against RR because it was a difficult target to get and chances of winning was low. In the match DC what Dhoni did was correct to settle but unluckily lost his wicket.

For the match against SRH which is happening in Dubai Rayudu can replace Rituraj. Hazelwood is a good pick so its better if he stays and for the spinners there are very less chances that they will be replaced but Tahir or Santner can be replaced for Chawla or Jadeja respectively.

So trueeee !!Watching the first match was so nice xD. But the other 2 :(
